Bail if you go to live in Scotland.

AN OAP charged with attempting to murder a neighbour was released on bail in Ulster yesterday on condition he moves to Scotland.

Jock McCune, of Coagh, Tyrone, was remanded in custody on Monday after being accused of stabbing neighbour Robert Stewart, 46.

Yesterday, Lord Justice Campbell released McCune on bail of pounds 500 and imposed a condition that he must live with his daughter in Motherwell, Lanarkshire, pending his trial.

The judge said he can only return to Northern Ireland for court appearances. His next one is on January 14.
