Bahraini lady shooters clinch the silver with 16 medals.

Sharjah, Feb. 7. (BNA) --Bahrain yesterday added to their overall medal tally in the Second Arab Women's Sports Tournament, being held in Sharjah, UAE. Bahrain Shooting Club attained silver for 20m pistol contest at the end of the shooting tournament held yesterday, within the competitions of the Second Arab Women's Tournament hosted by Sharjah, United Arab Emirates (UAE) till February 12, where Bahrain taking its tally to 16 medallions to claim the third position.

The Bahraini shooting team including the shooters Samira Abdul Jalil, Lubna Abdul Aziz and Mouza Bucheery attained the second position scoring 1642 points "the silver", the Qatari shooters attained the first position "the gold" with 1673 points, while the Kuwaiti shooters attained the third position "the bronze" with 1572 points.

At the end of the shooting tournament, Qatar Ladies' Club attained the first position and the Cup by clinching 6 medals, Al-Fatat Sports Club from Kuwait attained the second position with 4 medals, Sharjah Ladies Club came in the third position winning two medals, Al-Fatat Sports Club from Oman came in the fourth position with two medals, while Bahrain Club in the fifth position with two medals as well.

Vice-President of Bahrain Shooting Sports Association Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa stressed that the outstanding results attained by Bahraini women in general, and the Bahraini Shooting team in particular is the outcome of the great support they attain from the wise leadership.

Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa praised the outstanding results achieved by the national clubs in the tournament in Sharjah.
