Bahraini businessman victim of Au1 million UK arson.

London: Bahraini businessman has become the victim of a suspected arson attack in the UK that caused an estimated [pounds sterling]1 million worth of damage.

The blaze at VIP House in Digbeth, Birmingham wrecked a Lamborghini Huracan, a Rolls Royce Phantom, a Rolls Royce Ghost and 15 other luxury vehicles.

It happened earlier this month, but the building's owner only broke his silence yesterday in an interview with local newspaper The Birmingham Mail.

"It is tragic. They have done this for no apparent personal gain. My father was extremely upset and that is something no son wants to see," said the owner, who was only identified as 40-year-old Solihull resident Shaikh Mohammad from Bahrain by the newspaper.

"I have seen CCTV footage, this was not random. Was it someone with a grudge? Maybe," he added.

The 150sqm VIP House went up in flames at around midnight on August 20. It was allegedly broken into by five people, who are believed to have used an industrial grinder to make their entrance.

Only two of the 18 cars torched in the attack belonged to Shaikh Mohammad, according to the reports.
