Bahrain keen on promoting democracy, human rights.

Geneva, Oct 18 (BNA): Second Deputy Shura Chairman Jameela Salman and Head of Council of Representatives' Women and Children Committee, Dr. Jameela Al-Sammak, have represented Bahrain at the Third Standing Committee on Democracy and Human Rights meeting held in Geneva.

The two representatives highlighted Bahrain's keenness on enacting laws and regulations that contribute to the support of the democratic process and human rights.

They cast light on Bahrain's successful experience in developing a variety of legislation in the field of human rights.
