Bahrain Premier issues key edicts.
Article 1 of this edict deals with granting fully-paid holidays for the workers in the sector while article 2 says that if any day of the mentioned holidays in article 1 coincides with Friday or with an official holiday the worker is to be compensated with another day, reported the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication.
The second edict deals with naming the relevant administrative body and the minister for societies, places of accommodations, cultural and social clubs for foreign communities which are established by private authorities and companies, as well as the private institutions including defining their scopes.
The first article of this edict stipulates that the Social Development Ministry is the relevant administrative body and the Social Development Minister the relevant minister.
The third appoints directors of the engineering services and investment directorates in the governorates as follows:
Ali Ibrahim Al Ansari Al Khazraji (Southern), Ali Ahmed Al Rewaee (Northern), Khalil Mustafa Al Murbati (Muharraq), Jihad Mohsin Soloum (Central) and Jameel Hassan Saleh Al Rewaee (Capital).
The fourth edict appoints Ibtisam Abdulla Khalaf director of fisheries at the Municipalities and Urban Planning Affairs Ministry.
Under article 1 of the fifth edict Transport Ministry director of human and financial resources Aref Hassan Al Mansouri will be the director of human resources in the same ministry.
Civil Aviation Affairs (C) director of human and financial resources Mosa Yousif Al Sayed will be director of human resources at the Transport Ministry and C director of strategic planning directorate and quality control and safety Hussain Ahmed Al Shuail will be director of aviation safety.
The second article names Hamad Mohammed Fakhro director of logistics areas and Yousif Isa Bubshait director of commercial affairs in the Transport Ministry.
Under the sixth edict, Cabinet Affairs Ministry director of information and computers Nizar Mroof Omar has been transferred to the e-Government Authority (eGA) as director of strategies directorate and re-engineering electronic procedures and Ahmed Mohammed Buhazz has been appointed director of electronic services and channels development at the authority.-TradeArabia News Service
