Bahrain : The Minister of Education receives a member of the Board of Trustees of the Hamdan Bin Rashid Award for Distinguished Academic Performance.

HE Dr. Majid bin Ali Al Nuaimi, Minister of Education, received in his office at the Ministry of Education, Dr. Khalifa Al Suwaidi, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Distinguished Educational Performance, on the occasion of his visit to the country to participate in the First International Conference on Creativity in Gifted Education, Under the theme (Innovation in Gifted Education: A Roadmap for Investing Minds).

During the meeting, the Minister explained to Dr. Suwaidi about the experience of integrating special needs for learning that includes 81 schools and the services provided to this group of children in a way that helps them complete their studies. Dr. Al Suwaidi praised this remarkable experience which contributed to the transfer of a number of integration students To the ordinary classes with their colleagues, after being distinguished in the academic and behavioral fields. On the other hand, Dr. Al Suwaidi praised the College of Bahrain for Teachers and its role in the graduation of distinguished teachers who have been trained in the teaching process since the first year of their enrollment, The college is a praiseworthy example of being a new regional teacher education program.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Mohammed Mubarak Juma, Undersecretary of Resources and Services, Chairman of the College of Bahrain for Teachers and a number of officials in the ministry.
