Bahawalpur's employees' degrees to be verified.
BAHAWALPUR -- The Punjab government has issued directives for verification of degrees, domiciles and other documents of government employees across the district following the complaints that some people got government jobs by submitting fake degrees in different districts of the province.
Official sources said that the provincial government received complaints that some people had got employment in government departments by submitting fake documents. 'There were complaints received from several districts of the province that government jobs had been attained by submission of fake degrees and domiciles,' they said.
They further said that following the complaints, the provincial government had directed the district management of about all districts to verify educational documents and domiciles of the government employees,' they said.
The employees of government departments have been asked to submit their original degrees and domiciles with the authorities concerned in this regard.
