Baggies fans are still waiting for Wanda after delay.

THE rumour mill went in to a frenzy when Chinese super power Dalian Wanda Group, linked with a Albion buyout, revealed on Twitter it had a big announcement to make yesterday at 11am.

The group have been speculatively linked with The Hawthorns in a move that would excite the fans, to say the least.

And why wouldn't it, the owner Wang Jianlin is the richest man in Asia with an estimated wealth of $28.7 billion.

However, It seems there has been delay to whatever it is that they were going to announce: "Due to VIP travel delays, Wanda unfortunately has to postpone the 11 am event/ announcement.

"We'll reschedule & keep you posted. Thanks!" At this stage it is still wild speculation, although given the recent influx in Chinese ownership of English clubs, it is perfectly plausible.

Albion's two biggest rivals, Aston Villa and Wolves, have already been bought out by wealthy Chinese businessmen this summer.
