Bad news for Ross; HOME AND AWAY WEEKDAYS, FIVE, 6pm.

Ever since former cop Ross Buckton and his two daughters came into the soap there has been drama - whether it was youngest child Ruby's fling with her former school caretaker or eldest daughter Charlie's rocky romance with chef Roman.

Things seemed to calm down when anewly retired Ross tied the knot with legal eagle Morag as they zipped off for the honeymoon of a lifetime.

Unfortunately, the jaunt was cut short when they returned to Summer Bay early and, within a few days, were told the devastating news Ross was suffering from Alzheimer's.

As he and Morag struggled to take in the shocking diagnosis, Charlie and Ruby dealt with it in different ways.

Ruby felt weighed down by her father's illness, while her sister tried to avert disaster at every opportunity.

Ross drops another bombshell. He tells Ruby and Charlie he doesn't want to be a burden and wants to move into an assisted care home. But has he forgotten the wishes of his wife?
