Bacon joins Burts range.

Hand-fried potato chips company Burts has developed a Smoked Streaky Bacon flavour for meat lovers, using actual bacon as an ingredient.

The chips, launched this week at the 2005 Speciality and Fine Food Fair in London, use smoked bacon from Denhay Farms in Dorset to make the seasoning rather than artificial flavours.

Burts also showcased its new Gosh No Salt range of chips for children. They have no additives, preservatives or added salt and come in honey, cheese, vinegar and ketchup.

Smoked Streaky Bacon potato chips are available in 200g and 50g bags and the Gosh No Salt brand comes in 50g bags.
