Back in time.

THE Quattro's fired up, the big hair is flicked, the eye shadow's bright blue and the leg warmers are on standby, as it's back to the 1980s again.

The second series of the timetravelling drama Ashes To Ashes takes us down memory lane to 1982, when Duran Duran's Rio and ABC's The Look Of Love were topping the charts, ET was trying to find his way home, Richard Gere was melting hearts as An Of- ficer and a Gentleman and the Falklands War was raging.

Keeley Hawes plays DI Alex Drake, whose been transported back from the present day after being shot. Still no nearer to getting back to her daughter, she believes she's suspended in time, but discovers she may not be alone in her predicament.

A mysterious stranger who also seems to be stuck in 1982 is making Alex doubt that the world of DCI Gene Hunt (Philip Glenister) is merely a figment of her imagination.

The series sees the return of DS Ray Carling (Dean Andrews), DC Chris Skelton (Marshall Lancaster) and WPC Sharon Granger (Montserrat Lombard). Guest stars include Pooky Quesnel, Adrian Dunbar, Shaun Evans, David Bradley and Ruth Millar.
