Back in a car sold for love; NOSTALGIA.

A ROMANTIC grandad has been reunited with his beloved Clyno car, 54 years after he sold it to buy his wife's engagement ring.

Retired postie Bob Stroud, 80, bought the car in 1952. A year later, he met future wife Evelyn and sold it for pounds 25.

Today, the 1929 Clyno, now worth pounds 50,000, is owned by millionaire Rodger Dudding, 70, and was tracked down by Bob's daughter Alison Clarke.

Yesterday, Bob and Evelyn, of Maidenhead, Berks, went for a spin in the car with Rodger, of Potters Bar, Herts. Bob said: "It was amazing."
