Baby show and Health Mela at Sambros Hospital.

KARACHI -- Dr. Junaid Ali Shah, Chief Executive AO Clinic and Provincial Health Minister was the chief guest at the 5th Annual Baby Show and Health Mela organized by M/s Sambros Hospital on 31st March, 2013. Prof. Iqbal Memon, President Pakistan Pediatric Association was the Guest of Honor.

Speaking at the occasion Dr. Junaid Ali said that Health and education are the major problem of our country. Private sector is playing its role effectively but it require joint efforts by Government, general public and private sector. I will try my best to carry on the mission of my father Late Dr. Muhammad Ali Shah to provide quality and cost effective medical care to the needy patients, he added. He lauded the efforts of the management of Sambros hospital which is organizing free medical camps , Baby shows and CME programs regularly.

Prof. Iqbal Memon speaking at the occasion urged the care taker Government to continue the mother and child healthcare programmes which will enable Pakistan to achieve the targets set by World Bodies for 2015. He also urged the Government, concerned authorities and parents to play their role for success of vaccination programme which is very important. We have to fight with the forces which are spreading negative propaganda against vaccination, he added.

Dr. Sami Ahmed, Chief Executive Sambros Hospital presented the annual report of the hospital and various activities being carried out for the betterment of mother and child care by Sambros hospital. He paid rich tributes and lauded the services of late Dr. Muhammad Ali Shah in the field of Health and sports in Sindh and in Karachi particularly.
