Baby death more tests.

A POST-mortem examination on a 10 month-old girl who died at a house on the Isle of Wight has proved inconclusive.

A 36 year-old woman and a 31 year-old man have been arrested as part of the inquiry into the death of Jodie Sullivan-Kearns, who was discovered unconscious at an address in Hazel Close, Ventnor, last Wednesday.

She was rushed to St Mary's Hospital, Newport, where she was pronounced dead.

A Hampshire police spokeswoman said the post-mortem carried out at Great Ormond Street Hospital proved inconclusive, but further tests were being carried out with results expected this week.

The man and woman have been bailed by police pending further inquiries.
