Babies you're the best.
These are the little cuties you picked as your Baby Idols.
Today we proudly show off the winning gallery of bonny bairns who won the hearts of the region.
Phonelines were red hot when we launched our Baby Idol contest to find the North East's most beautiful wee ones.
And when the lines finally closed we registered a massive 83,498 votes, up by more than 30,000 on last year.
More than 1,700 little ones entered the competition and had their pictures taken by our snapper at the MetroCentre.
There were three categories: 0-9 months, 10-18 month toddlers and children between 19 and 36 months.
A winner and a runner-up in each age group receive our fantastic prizes and the accolade of being among the bonniest babies in the region.
Chronicle sales promotions manager Glynis Lloyd said: "The response to this year's competition was unbelievable with a total of 83,498 votes cast over the week.
"There were 30,000 more votes compared to last year's competition, with more than 500 additional entries.
"All of our entries were so cute and they all deserved to win but our readers voted and they made the final decisions.
