BVC Unit Helps Jacob's

A BVC S8/66 exhauster/blower has been installed in the new plant that Jacob's Biscuits use to produce Iced Gems. Output has now been increased by some 40 percent.

Vacuum is used to hold the biscuits in place on a conveyor whilst they are being iced. In fact, the new unit from Gosport-based BVC replaces an older one which did not have the capacity to match the new output. To prevent icing or biscuit particles reaching the exhauster, a combination of wet collection and bag filtration is used.
