DALLAS, Feb. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Business Records Corporation Holding

Company (NASDAQ: BRCP) announced 1991 earnings of $7,674,000, or $1.60 per share, on revenues of $75,647,000. This compares to net income of $7,419,000, or $1.58 per share, on revenues of $74,074,000 during 1990.
The company's fourth quarter earnings were $3,401,000, or $.68 per share, on revenues of $26,716,000. The company stated that its 1991 earnings will not become final until completion of its annual audit in March of this year.
P.E. Esping, president and chief executive officer of the company, stated that increased sales of the company's election systems contributed greatly to 1991 earnings. During the year, the company completed the majority of its large-scale election systems implementation project for the State of Oklahoma and secured a number of election systems contracts with election jurisdictions seeking to upgrade their equipment prior to the upcoming presidential elections. Esping stated that he believes the company will continue to benefit from the increased nationwide election activity during 1992. However, he cautioned that sales of election products normally decrease subsequent to a presidential election year.
The company's 1991 earnings include a $1,575,000, of $.33 per share, benefit associated with the utilization of net operating loss carryforwards. This compares to a $2,446,000, or $.52 per share, net operating loss carryforward benefit during the previous year.
