The Worcester law firm of Lane, Greene, Murtha & Edwards has hired Mary A. Tanona of Worcester. Ms. Tanona began her career at Dewey Ballantine in New York City and had been the general counsel for the Providence & Worcester Railroad Co. She received degrees from Fordham University School of Law and Smith College. Her practice will focus on real estate and business law.

Patrick R. Tobiasson of North Grafton has joined the insurance and wealth management firm of Dolan, Maloney & Melfa in Westboro. Mr. Tobiasson is a graduate of the State University of New York at Oswego. He is an Iraq war veteran and recently received an honorable discharge from the 174th Fighter Wing at Syracuse, N.Y. He volunteers as a set designer and builder for Westboro High School.

St. Mary's Credit Union has announced the promotion of Alan Herzog of Leominster to manager at its West Main Street branch in Marlboro. Mr. Herzog has 11 years of banking experience and had been an assistant branch manager for three years. He earned his bachelor's degree from Fitchburg State College.

Fallon Community Health Plan has appointed Auburn resident Kate C. McEvoy-Zdon-czyk to senior director of government and community relations, a position in which she will advocate for FCHP with elected officials and trade organizations, and manage community relations projects, philanthropic activities and special events. Mrs. McEvoy-Zdonczyk received a bachelor's degree from Worcester State College. Before coming to Fallon, she was senior account manager for Worcester Publishing Ltd.

Shrewsbury resident Patricia H. Forts has been appointed by Fallon Community Health Plan to senior director of strategic planning. She will be leading many of the initiatives critical to Fallon's growth and diversification, including service area expansion, corporate planning and business development. She received a bachelor's degree from the College of the Holy Cross.

Divine Kitchens in Westboro has added Jodi Osborn to its design staff. Ms. Osborn, of Worcester, has spent the past eight years as a designer in the kitchen industry and has worked for two other interior design firms in the area. She has had extensive experience with construction and electrical plans and with floor plans.
