Jennifer Nelson has joined Inn at the 5th as general manager. She previously worked at the Oxford Hotel in Bend as general manager and also at Brasada Ranch in Powell Butte.

Dena Zaldua-Hilkene has joined the Eugene Symphony as its new development director. She succeeds Maylian Pak, who accepted a position with the Oregon Community Foundation last July. Zaldua-Hilkene formerly was assistant director of development at the National Center for Lesbian Rights.

Wells Fargo has appointed Trent Wagner as a regional bank private banker in Eugene. He joined the bank in 2009 as a teller in West Eugene and later served as a personal banker for two years.

Johanna Thoeresz recently joined The Oregon Community Foundation as chief development officer. Her responsibilities include creating and implementing fundraising strategies and cultivating relationships with donors. She has more than 20 years of fundraising experience, most recently at Mercy Corps, where she was vice president for development.

Fawnda Thompson, assistant vice president and manager of Siuslaw Mortgage, has been promoted to vice president and manager of Siuslaw Mortgage. Prior to her 17-year tenure with Siuslaw Bank, she worked for Melon Mortgage Company.

Richard Larson has joined the firm Harrang Long Gary Rudnick in Eugene. Kath Suchan has joined Journey Tree Financial Planning & Investments as a senior adviser. She has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry.

Wells Fargo has appointed Nicole Ashley as a business specialist in Eugene. She previously was a personal banker for the bank in Eugene. Wells Fargo also appointed Tony Khosroabadi as a business specialist in Eugene. He previously worked as a Wells Fargo personal banker and assistant branch manager in Eugene.

The Environmental Law Alliance Worldwide has hired David Pugh as a Web developer and Jackie Chimelewski as office manager. Pugh, who will manage ELAW's website, graduated from the University of Oregon in 2006. Chimelewski has worked in political and social justice nonprofit organizations in Eugene, Washington, D.C.. and Pittsburgh.

Betty McKenzie has recently been promoted to assistant director of nursing for New Horizons In-Home Care in Eugene.

Systems West Engineers has hired Tyler Bowers as mechanical engineer. He has been a consulting engineer since graduating from George Fox University, and specializes in 3-D modeling design.

Funk/Levis & Associates recently hired Kerri Anderson and Tai Locke on its account management team. Both are University of Oregon graduates.

Charlene Fauria recently joined the University of Oregon Career Center as the job and internship developer. She most recently worked in executive and leadership positions with the Muscular Dystrophy Association and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Dr. Scott Pitts has joined EyeCare Focus in Springfield. He previously practiced in Olympia, Wash.

Laurene Larson has joined Vista Counseling & ADHD Clinic in Eugene. She previously worked as a counselor at South Eugene High School for 26 years.

Jeff Kindig DPT, a graduate of University of Connecticut's doctor of physical therapy program, has joined Bodywise Physical Therapy. Errin Chappel has joined Bodywise Physical Therapy. She graduated from Grand Valley State University with a doctorate in physical therapy and previously worked in Salem.

The Eugene office of Moss Adams LLP has announced the following new hires and promotions: Jackie Merrill has been hired as a manager. She has more than six years of public accounting and additional corporate accounting experience at a Fortune 200 company. Cody Purcell has returned to the company as a manager after spending time in the private sector. Micah Clinger has been promoted to senior manager. He joined the company in 2008. Stephen Sharpe has been promoted to senior manager. He joined the company in 2007. R.L. Widmer has been promoted to senior manager. He has been with the company since 2008. Blake Martin has been promoted to manager. He joined the company in 2009. Scott Rauch has been promoted to manager. He joined the company in 2009. Jonathan Gunter has been promoted to senior. He joined the company in 2012. Tyler Harris has been promoted to senior. He joined the company in January 2013. Kyle Hauser has been promoted to senior. He joined the company in October 2012. Maureen McMahon has joined Oregon Medical Group's Country Club Medical Center as a certified physician assistant.

Kayla Lamb and Sharlee Tergesen have been promoted to co-managers of staffing at New Horizons In-Home Care in Eugene.

Becky Howard has joined Oregon Medical Group's Crescent Medical Clinic. She is a board certified nurse practitioner.

Tayler Harrington has been named client services coordinator at KPD Insurance Inc. She graduated from the University of Oregon in 2012.

Alexandra Hilsher has joined Hershner Hunter as an associate. After graduating from the University of Oregon School of Law, she spent two years as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Timothy Sercombe of the Oregon Court of Appeals.

Kathryn Bruebaker has been hired as vice president, relationship banking officer at Pacific Continental Bank. She will work from the bank's office on West 11th Avenue in Eugene.

Julie Salinas has been promoted to process improvement officer at Pacific Continental Bank. She will work from the bank's office in downtown Eugene.

PeaceHealth Laboratories has hired Linda Hawley as director of communications and marketing. She has more than 15 years of experience in health care marketing.

Track Town Ales has hired a new brewer, Sam Scoggin. Scoggin attended college in Eugene, attended a three-month course in Sunderland, England, and interned at several English craft breweries. He previously worked at Walking Man brewery in Stevenson, Wash.

Ed Tritcak has joined the Hilton Eugene as a sales manager based in Portland. He has more than 36 years in sales in the hospitality industry with a variety of hotels.

Emergency Veterinary Hospital and Animal Urgent Care has hired an associate veterinarian, Dr. Pam Brown. She has experience in small animal and emergency practices.
