BUSINESS INCENTIVES SELECTED AS 1992 MINNESOTA QUALITY AWARD FINALIST
MINNEAPOLIS, July 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Business Incentives, Inc. (BI) has been selected as one of seven finalists for the Minnesota Council for Quality's 1992 Quality Award.
This prestigious award (patterned after the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award) was designed to encourage all Minnesota organizations to examine their current state of quality, to become more involved in the movement toward continuous quality improvement, and to recognize outstanding quality achievements throughout the state of Minnesota. The award structure is divided into three industry categories -- manufacturing, service and small business.
As one of two service category finalists, BI's corporate headquarters and its 950 associates will be visited by the council's team of award examiners. The purpose of the site visit and associate interviews will be to confirm and gather additional data about the quality efforts of the company.
BI began its quality journey eight years ago with the development of its "Quality Is Forever" Program -- a program designed to reinforce and involve all BI associates in the process for continuous improvement. BI has also submitted its application for the third consecutive year for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.
BI combines communications, training, measurement and awards into performance improvement programs for its Fortune 500 clients. Its Minneapolis headquarters and 23 satellite offices serve clients nationwide.
