Lou Panni has been promoted to business development officer at SELCO Community Credit Union. Panni most recently served as business development coordinator. Also, SELCO has hired Ramona Mitchell as vice president and business loan officer in its Member Business Services division. She is responsible for providing loans and services to businesses in SELCO's qualifying counties.
Carrie Strub, a certified kitchen designer, has joined Neil Kelly Design/Build Remodeling in Eugene as a design associate. She earned a bachelor's degree in housing studies and design from Oregon State University in 1998.
Sid Leiken has joined the Eugene branch of West Coast Bank as vice president and commercial banker, serving clients in the Eugene-Springfield market. Leiken, the mayor of Springfield, previously served as relationship officer for Pacific Continental Bank.
The Women's Business Network, a Eugene-based alliance of business and professional women, has elected its 2006 board officers. They are: President, Edrie Bizak; vice president, Tricia Henry; secretary, Ann Fuller; treasurer, Nichole Carter; and past president, Emily Evans.
Kristi Kernutt, attorney for PacificSource Health Plans, has joined the board of directors of Eugene Hearing and Speech Center. Mel Pyne, chief executive officer of PeaceHealth in Oregon, has been named to the executive committee of the board of trustees of the Oregon Association of Hospitals and Health Systems for 2006. OAHHS is a statewide organization that represents 57 community hospitals and health systems. Roy Orr of McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center in Springfield, David Bigelow of Samaritan Pacific Community Hospital in Newport, and Dan Smith of Bay Area Hospital in Coos Bay, are at-large members of the board of trustees.
Jan Bohman, community relations director for the city of Eugene, has been elected board president of the Greater Oregon Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. Other board officers are president-elect Jenny Carrick, community relations director for the Oregon Pacific chapter of the American Red Cross; past president Sue Viggiano, EmX public relations manager for Lane Transit District; treasurer Eric Jones, public affairs manager for Eugene Public Works; and secretary Stephanie Stano, account executive with Funk/Levis & Associates.
