BURLINGTON ENVIRONMENTAL INC. RESOURCE RECOVERY CORP. WINS AWARD

 SEATTLE, June 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Burlington Environmental Inc. announced today that its transportation subsidiary, Resource Recovery Corp., received the 1992 National Safety Council Award for its exemplary safety record.
 Resource Recovery was the nation's top transportation company in safety for its class (based on number of vehicles and drivers on the road). During 1992, Resource Recovery operators drove more than 1.25 million miles without any accidents. This follows a second-place award for 1991 and perfect record awards for 1989 and 1990.
 Resource Recovery provides hazardous waste transportation services from a regional hub located in Tacoma, Wash. The company employs 26 drivers, operates 22 trucks and 36 trailers, including power units, lined stainless steel and carbon steel vacuum tankers, and a variety of flatbed trucks and vans.
 Burlington Environmental Inc. provides comprehensive hazardous waste services for major industrial manufacturers in the aerospace, transportation, chemical and petrochemical industries, as well as numerous government agencies. Burlington Environmental Inc. is the largest operator of treatment, recycling, storage and storage facilities in the northwest United States and one of the largest in the United States.
