BURGER KING CORPORATION LAUNCHES FOURTH TIE-IN WITH DISNEY WITH 'NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS' PROMOTION

 MIAMI, Nov. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Burger King Corporation and Disney's Touchstone Pictures have launched a promotion featuring a series of collector's watches with scenes from "Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas." The holiday promotion, which targets teens and adults, is Burger King Corporation's fourth tie-in with Walt Disney Studios.
 The watches will be available at Burger King(R) restaurants for $1.99 with any purchase from the Burger King Everyday Value Menu between Nov. 1 and Dec. 5, while supplies last. Each of the four digital watches features colorful images from Disney's animated fantasy.
 "Our relationship with Disney and Touchstone has played an important role in our children's marketing programs over the past several years," said Sidney J. Feltenstein, executive vice president, worldwide marketing, Burger King Corporation. "We are thrilled to appeal to an older customer through our tie-in with 'Nightmare'."
 "Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas" features the stop-motion animation of Tim Burton, whose directorial credits include "Edward Scissorhands" and the "Batman" movies.
 Burger King Corporation's previous joint promotional ventures with Disney have included tie-ins with the animated classics "Aladdin," "Beauty and the Beast" and the re-release of "Pinocchio."
