BTEA to honor Stephen Ross at Leadership Dinner in April.

The Building Trades Employers' Association will honor four industry leaders during its Annual Leadership Dinner being held on April 20th at Gotham Hall.

The theme of this year's dinner, which will feature a keynote address by New York City Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg, is "Celebrating New York's Development Visionaries."

The BTEA's Leadership Awards are presented to accomplished individuals that haven proven themselves as exemplary leaders and mentors that embody the vision, dedication and fortitude to continuously shape the city's skyline.

The BTEA will honor Stephen M. Ross, chairman and CEO of The Related Companies, L.P., and Anthony Coscia, chairman of the Port Authority of New' York and New Jersey, for their contributions to New York City's economic future.

"New York continues to build, grow and provide economic opportunities thanks to these two individuals," said Louis J. Coletti, president and CEO of the BTEA. "They are true visionaries."

Two former BTEA chairmen, James H. Jones, president of TDX Construction Corp., and Lester Wuerfl, will also be honored for their contributions to the Building Trades Employers' Association.

"Jimmy and Les have been key to the BTEA's success over the years," says Coletti.

"It is only fitting that we honor them for their extraordinary contributions to our organization."

The 2006 BTEA Leadership Dinner chairmen are James Abadie, principal in charge and senior vice president of Bovis Lend Lease LMB, Inc. and Richard Wood, president of Plaza Construction Corporation.
