 JOHNSTOWN, Pa., Aug. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- At the board of directors meeting of BT Financial Corporation (NASDAQ: BTFC) held on Aug. 25, 1993, an announcement was made regarding the retirement of Gerald W. Swatsworth, chairman and chief executive officer, and Ethel J. Otrosina, executive vice president and secretary, effective Sept. 30, 1993.
 John H. Anderson will succeed Swatsworth as chairman, president and chief executive officer. George J. Kondor Jr. will succeed Otrosina as executive vice president and secretary. Carl J. Motter Jr. will remain as vice chairman of the Corporate Services Group, and Steven C. Ackmann, vice chairman, will continue to coordinate the Affiliate Services Group.
 Swatsworth will remain as chairman of the Executive Committee and director.
 Otrosina will also continue to be a director and a member of the Executive Committee. The corporation has a strong management team with excellent employees and should continue to prosper and grow, the company said.
 Anderson has been associated with the corporation since 1985 when he became senior vice president and head of a loan division for an affiliate. He came to BT Financial Corporation from Industrial Valley Bank in Philadelphia and has been in the banking industry since 1972 after graduating from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School. In addition he also attended Gannon College. Anderson presently is president of BT Financial Corporation. He and his wife reside in Richland, Pa., have three children, and are active in church and community affairs.
 Kondor has been with the company in various capacities since 1971. His most recent position is that of executive vice president, assisting Otrosina, executive vice president and secretary of the corporation, in administration of the staff services division. He is a graduate of Columbia School of Broadcasting, completed various courses of study through ABA and PBA and has also attended St. Francis College. He and his wife have two children, and they reside in New Florence, Pa., where he is active in civic affairs.
