BRUNO HONORED AS OUTSTANDING HOSPITAL TRUSTEE

 CLEVELAND, May 7 /PRNewswire/ -- August D. Bruno, director of taxes for the East Ohio Gas Company, will be honored today for significant contributions to the Northeast Ohio health care industry.
 Bruno, a nine-year board member at St. Alexis Hospital Medical Center, Cleveland, will receive the Edward F. Meyers Outstanding Trustee Award at the Greater Cleveland Hospital Association's (GCHA) 1993 Annual Meeting, 6 p.m. today at the Marriott Society Center, Cleveland.
 More than 2,500 trustees are eligible for this annual award, which is named for a former GCHA board chairman and provides public recognition for exemplary contributions to the health care needs of Northeast Ohioans.
 Up to 10 trustees are chosen annually from hospital staff nominations by a committee comprising business, community and education leaders. Bruno is among five trustees receiving a 1993 award.
 The Greater Cleveland Hospital Association is a not-for-profit organization providing advocacy and management services to hospitals throughout Northeast Ohio.
