BROUGHT TO JUSTICE; The following cases were heard at Cardiff Magistrates' Court:.

| Adam Neil Dunford, 27, of Primrose Court, Tonyrefail, was fined PS129 for possession of Class C drug Diazepam. He pleaded guilty to the offence and also had to pay a PS20 victim surcharge and PS85 costs.

| Jarrod Lee Paul Evans, 19, of Gilfach Road, Tonyrefail, was fined PS92 for use of threatening words or behaviour. He pleaded guilty and was also told to pay a PS20 victim surcharge and PS85 costs.

| Christopher Wyndham Peach, 42, of The Morning Star, The Graig, was given a 12-month conditional discharge after pleading guilty to possession of Diazepam. He was ordered to pay a PS15 victim surcharge and PS85 costs. | Gareth Michael Phillips, 23, of Tyntyla Avenue, was given a 12-month community order with 150 hours' unpaid work after he pleaded guilty to two instances of assault by beating. He was also put under a restraining order and told to pay PS750 compensation to his victim. He also had to pay a victim surcharge of PS60 and court costs of PS85.

| Alexandra Margretta Rosser, 30, of School Street, Cymmer, was fined PS129 and told to pay compensation of PS75, a victim surcharge of PS20 and court costs of PS85 after pleading guilty to assault of a police officer and use of threatening words or behaviour.
