BRITRAIL TRAVEL LINKS GERMANY AND BRITAIN WITH 1994 'BRITGERMAN RAILPASS,' LATEST DUAL-COUNTRY PASS

NEW YORK, Nov. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Brand new for 1994, BritRail Travel is offering a BritGerman Railpass, combining unlimited First Class rail travel on the BritRail and German Rail networks for five days or 10 days within a one-month period.
"North Americans who wish to combine Berlin, Bonn, Bath and Birmingham in one European vacation now have a pass that will allow them to accomplish their goal economically and conveniently," said Tim Roebuck, president of BritRail Travel International Inc.
"The BritGerman Railpass is ideal for travelers seeking multi- destinational experiences abroad, giving them an affordable and flexible means to combine two fascinating countries and two great rail systems in one vacation," says Roebuck.
-- A one-month BritGerman Railpass allowing five days First Class rail travel in England, Scotland, Wales and all of Germany is priced at $359.
-- A one-month BritGerman Railpass allowing 10 days First Class rail travel in England, Scotland, Wales and all of Germany is priced at $539.
With the introduction of the BritFrance Railpass in 1990 and the BritIreland Pass in 1993, North American travelers have been able to combine rail travel in Britain with train travel throughout its two nearest neighboring countries. With the introduction of the BritGerman Railpass this year, BritRail is breaking down more "walls," and furthering the opportunity for Continental travel for its passengers.
The BritGerman Railpass does not include transportation between Britain and Germany, affording travelers added flexibility in designing their own two-country vacation. Children 5 to 15 pay half fare and children under 5 travel free. It must be prepurchased in the United States.
BritRail Travel, the North American subsidiary of British Rail, offers a complete range of rail services and products that provide substantial savings for American travelers, including the popular BritRail Pass and BritRail Flexipass.
