BRITISH CALEDONIAN FLIGHT TRAINING SELECTS WICAT

OREM, Utah, Feb. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Wicat Systems Inc. announced today that British Caledonian Flight Training Ltd. (BCFTL) has placed an order with Wicat System Ltd. for the supply of delivery equipment for its Computer Based Training (CBT) courses.
The contract includes the supply of four Wicat WITS 486/33I student workstations with 19-inch high resolution color monitors, touch screens and audio delivery. The equipment will enable BCFTL to deliver the Wicat/BCFTL Boeing 737-400 Pilot Transition Training courseware as part of their ground school training course, which was approved by the CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) in 1992. This is the only course to utilize CBT for all topics to be approved by the United Kingdom CAA.
The order marks a significant milestone for BCFTL at Gatwick which will be offering a CBT based program for the B737 to their airline customers in the near future, in addition to the BCFTL programs that have utilized Wicat equipment over the last four years. The Wicat/BCFTL B737-400 CBT course and Wicat workstations have been used by British Caledonian Flight Training Espana in Palma, Mallorca, since summer 1991 and carries LBA (Federal Civil Aviation Administration) approval.
Keith Dagwell, training manager at BCFTL said, "I am pleased to place this order with Wicat and to further the close relationship that exists between both our companies."
Wicat Systems Inc., a Jostens Learning company, and a subsidiary of Jostens Inc. (NYSE: JOS), is a world leader in technology-based training products and services. Jostens stock is traded on the NYSE under the symbol JOS.
