BRISTOL-MYERS SQUIBB INCREASES DIVIDEND
BRISTOL-MYERS SQUIBB INCREASES DIVIDEND NEW YORK, Dec. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- The board of directors of Bristol-
Myers Squibb Company (NYSE: BMY) today declared a quarterly dividend of sixty-nine cents ($.69) per share on the $.10 par value common stock of the corporation, an increase of 15 percent over previous quarterly payments of sixty cents ($.60) per share. The dividend will be payable Feb. 1, 1992, to stockholders of record at the close of business on Jan. 3, 1992. The 1992 indicated annual payment of two dollars and seventy- six cents ($2.76) represents a 15 percent increase over the two dollars and forty cents ($2.40) paid in 1991. With this 1992 payment, Bristol- Myers Squibb dividends will have increased at a compound growth rate of 15 percent over the past five years and 18 percent over the past ten years. This increase represents the twentieth consecutive year that the company has raised the dividend on its common stock.
Directors also declared a dividend of fifty cents ($.50) per share on the $2.00 convertible preferred stock of the corporation, payable March 1, 1992, to stockholders of record at the close of business on Feb. 7, 1992. -0- 12/3/91 /CONTACT: Elizabeth M.
