Paving to cause delays on Franklin Boulevard

Motorists should expect delays as paving work continues today through Thursday on the westbound lanes of Franklin Boulevard as part of Lane Transit District's EmX rapid bus transit construction project.

Crews will begin paving today on the boulevard between Agate Street and East 11th Avenue. The work should be completed Thursday night.

Proposed parkway

is topic of meeting

West Eugene Transportation, Land and Neighborhood Design Solutions will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday in Lane County's Harris Hall, East Eighth Avenue and Oak Street to discuss the proposed West Eugene Parkway.

The meeting will focus on the legal issues surrounding the proposed roadway and an alternative to it.
