New bus station to open next week

VALENCIA - Buses on all Santa Clarita local routes will begin using the new McBean Transfer Station on Sunday.

On Monday, most commuter routes will start going through the station, located at McBean Parkway and Valencia Boulevard.

The station replaces a temporary transit center on Citrus Street, east of the Valencia Town Center mall. It is expected to help streamline service and improve schedules.
