DUMBARTON'S Andy Graham netted the all-important winner against Brechin but admitted his goal was a stroke of luck.

Sons had the majority of possession during the opening 45 minutes.

And although City began the second half on the offensive it was Dumbarton who got the all-important winner in the 59th minute when Graham stuck out a leg to send the ball past Graeme Smith in the City goal.

Graham said: "To be honest my goal was a bit of a fluke.

"The ball bobbled about in the box before ricocheting off my leg.

"But as far as I'm concerned they all count and thankfully it proved to be the winner."

City boss Ray McKinnon said: "It was unfortunate as we just couldn't put the ball in the net."
