Today, kick–off 8pm

The little team with the big heart have one more chance tonight to entertain their rapidly–growing fan base.

Tahiti – a team of mostly amateurs who have been outscored 16–1 in their opening two matches at the World Cup warm–up tournament – will face Uruguay in their final Group B match.

Although the South Pacific minnows have little to play for after being eliminated from the tournament following a 10–0 drubbing by Spain on Thursday, Uruguay need all three points for a semi–final place.

Tahiti, however, have won over the Brazilian public and many other football fans around the globe.

With only one pro in the squad, the islanders qualified for the Confederations Cup by winning the Oceania Nations Cup.

After their defeat to world champions Spain, Tahiti coach Eddie Etaeta said: "It's great to play in an offensive way, but your defence should not collapse.

"We may lose again against Uruguay but we've touched the hearts of the Brazilian people."
