BPO Association of India (BAI) Joins Hands with World BPO Forum - Announces BPO Awards.

New Delhi, May 20 -- BPO Association has joined hands with WICS and WBPO/ ITO Forum to organise 26 Bharati.co BPO Conferences across India in 26 different cities. The coming together of the two organisations would mean an in-depth analysis with an international perspective for the planned conferences.

Bharatico BPO conference will aim to bring the opportunity to collaborate with leading thinkers from the IT/ BPO industry, share and brainstorm on how Indian BPO players could actually reduce their operational cost by 25-30% by moving to Tier 2 & 3 cities in India and at the same time leverage the rise of domestic BPO industry in India.

Speaking on the occasion Mr B L Jain, Co-Founder of WBPO Forum said "the external challenge is in the form of opposition from the US politicians and the UK labor unions against shifting of the BPO operations by local companies to India..." World BPO Forum under the leadership of its Chairman, Jim Noble, and co founder, Kartik Kilachand will be hosting its 5th annual summit in New York on June 26 & 27 2012 inviting Dr Robert Reich, former Secretary of Labor under Bill Clinton and part of President Barack Obama's economic transition board as a chief keynote to talk about The Global Economy and the Future of Everything National

"The rise of domestic BPO's has also led to many small and medium enterprises entering the BPO sector. This has necessitated the urgent need for the correct training and development in these tier 2 and tier 3 cities and our conferences have been conceptualized with keeping the growth in these areas in mind" continued Mr Manan Vashisht, Sr Vice President, Bharatico Infomedia Ltd.

The Conference will necessitate executives from the BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) Industry, the buyers, the supplier community, the banks and investors, the real estate, and the leading Indian associations to get together and share ideas and insights into leading edge issues relating to development in this sector.

The BPO awards are being planned for September 2012 and they involve nearly 30 categories which include BPO company of the year (domestic / international, emerging company of the year, bpo employer of the year, ceo of the year, fun at work award, Operational Excellence And Quality Award Of The Year (Domestic / International), Best help desk services award, Award for professional excellence of the year, Best new BPO locator of the year, Technology award of the year ( Domestic / International) among a host of others.

With more than 230,000 jobs people expected to join the BPO industry in the 2012 (NASSCOM). According to a recent survey by Ma Foi, ITES becomes one of the most optimistic sectors for hiring. They also are also among the top job generation sectors (IT/ITES -227,328) with most of these leading from Tier 2 & Tier 3 cities of the country.
