BOWLS: Midlothian.

Midlothian rounded off a great indoor season as they celebrated their second major championship title in a week, adding the Scottish Cup to the Team Championship Trophy they won last week.

In the weekend's Scottish Cup Final in Glasgow they always held the upper hand against neighbouring rivals East Lothian, eventually running out 83-70 winners.

Midlothian's Peacock brothers spelt the end of the road for their arch rivals, with Davidwrappingupa25-14win over Willie Wood and Billy adding a 21-16 success over Graham Robertson.
