BOUNDARY LAYER CODES.

Capability: The developer has made Java computer codes available via the Internet to help solve boundary-layer problems or boundary-layer convection problems. Eight codes are available. The Walz code computes incompressible laminar boundary layers using the Thwaites-Walz integral methods. The Moses code computes incompressible turbulent boundary layers using Moses' method. The WalzHT code computes incompressible laminar boundary layers with heat transfer. The MosesHT code computes incompressible turbulent boundary layers using Moses' method extended to include heat transfer. The ILBLI code computes incompressible laminar boundary layers by an implicit numerical method; the ITBL code computes incompressible turbulent boundary layers by an implicit numerical method; the CLBL code computes compressible laminar boundary layers by an implicit numerical method; and the CTBL code computes compressible turbulent boundary layers by an implicit numerical method. Instruction and help files are available.

Hardware: The codes are platform independent.
