 BOSTON GLOBE ACQUIRES WESTWOOD SITE;
 NEW LOCATION TO HANDLE INSERTING OPERATIONS FOR SUNDAY GLOBE
 BOSTON, June 11 /PRNewswire/ -- The Boston Globe has acquired a manufacturing building in Westwood, Mass., that will house the newspaper's Sunday pre-print insert operation, Globe publisher William O. Taylor announced today. The purchase price was $4 million.
 The facility is located at 22 Marymount Ave., on 10 acres in the Westwood Industrial Park.
 Taylor said the building would be renovated and furnished with state-of-the-art equipment for on-line inserting of preprinted material into the Boston Sunday Globe.
 "This new plant will provide us with more efficient inserting capabilities, as well as additional options for the packaging of our Sunday and daily operations," Taylor said.
 The new Globe plant will replace a facility that the newspaper has been renting on a temporary basis for several years. The Westwood site is expected to be operational in the fall of 1993.
 The Globe currently has two other production plants; its main plant on Morrissey Boulevard in Dorchester and a satellite printing plant in Billerica, Mass.
