BOSTON GAS WORKERS TO MEET; VOTE MAY BE TAKEN

 BOSTON, May 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Top negotiators for the United Steelworkers of America (USWA) in contract talks with Boston Gas Co. announced today they had summoned members of Local Unions 12003 and 12007 to meetings tomorrow at which votes may be taken.
 The announcement followed conclusion of a marathon bargaining session between Local 12003 and Boston Gas, which began at 10 a.m. Tuesday, and ended at 6:30 a.m. today. The parties are scheduled to meet again beginning at 6:30 p.m. today.
 Local 12007 was kept informed of the progress of the Tuesday-Wednesday talks and will participate when negotiations resume today, the union said.
 The meeting of Local 12003 will begin at 10 a.m., Thursday, May 20, in Florian Hall, located at 55 Hallet St., Dorchester, Mass.
 Local 12007 will meet at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Ancient Order of Hibernians, 259 Charles St., Malden, Mass.
 The meetings will be attended by Lou Thomas, director of USWA District 14; Carl Morris of the USWA International headquarters, the union's chief negotiator; Paul Hannon, president of Local 12003; Janet McDonough, president of Local 12007, and the members of the negotiating committees of the two locals.
 Both meetings will be closed to the public.
