BOSSERMAN APPOINTED PRESIDENT OF ANVT

 PHOENIX, Oct. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Robert T. Bosserman was appointed to the office of president of Active Noise and Vibration Technologies Inc. (ANVT) effective Oct. 1. Since joining ANVT in 1990, Bosserman has served as vice president of operations and executive vice president and chief operating officer for the company. Bosserman will assume presidential responsibilities from Thomas H. Hesse, founder of ANVT, who will increase his focus on strategic relationships, intellectual property and technology issues, and capital growth in his continuing role as chairman and chief executive officer.
 "Bob has worked closely with me during the past few years to transform ANVT from a `store front company' into a world renowned, respected industry leader," said Hesse. "Our evolution into commercial product manufacturing and sales has and will continue to generate significant growth and changes these new roles for Bob. I will enhance our ability to manage this growth for the benefit of our shareholders, employees, and partners."
 Prior to joining ANVT, Bosserman worked in various capacities at the ITT Corp. Positions held include: vice president - law and business administration, vice president, general counsel, and secretary, and corporate counsel. In private legal practice, he specialized in the general legal representation of technology companies. Bosserman has received a bachelor's degree from Vanderbilt University and master's and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Virginia.
 In a related development, Steven Lee, ANVT corporate counsel, was appointed assistant secretary and registered agent of ANVT, while Robert Zack, corporate controller, assumed additional responsibilities as assistant treasurer of the company.
 ANVT recently introduced the NQ100(TM) Noise Quieting headset, the world's first low cost consumer headset to quiet unwanted noise and improve stereophonic quality with ANVT's patented "active" technology. Noise from planes, trains, subways, buses, automobiles, household appliances, and lawn and garden tools will be reduced with the NQ100. Volume shipments of the NQ100, which features an introductory price of $189, commenced Oct. 1.
