BORIS IN GIBBERISH HONOUR.

SACKED shadow arts minister Boris Johnson has won a Foot In Mouth award for talking gobbledegook.

The Tory MP made the "most baffling statement by a public figure" for a comment on the BBC quiz Have I Got News For You.

He came out with: "I could not fail to disagree with you less."

The European Commission won a Golden Bull booby prize for a document saying it would "unlock clusters, through internationalisation, inter-regional co-operation and cross-sector fertilisation".

Other winners of Plain English Campaign booby prizes included Trilogy Telecom, which referred to the laying of a cable as "physically installing the metallic facility path".
