BONE THUGS-N-HARMONY HIT TRIPLE PLATINUM - WIN BLOCKBUSTER AWARD FOR FAVORITE RAP GROUP & NOMINATED FOR SOUL TRAIN'S BEST RAP GROUP AWARD

New Single & Video Coming Up -
Bone Committed to Midnight Basketball Association

SEATTLE, March 11 /PRNewswire/ -- The Bone Thugs-N-Harmony success story isn't about to cool down. With a new single and video scheduled to drop in April, the group with the biggest selling rap record of '95 continues its hot streak in '96. In fact, Bone's newly RIAA-certified triple platinum Ruthless/Relativity LP, "E. 1999 Eternal," seems eternal in its appeal to fans, now in its 33rd week on Billboard's Top 100 Pop Album chart.

"Crossroads," the third single from "E. 1999 Eternal" is a tribute to Eazy-E and the family and friends of Bone who have passed away. The song is dedicated to all Bone's fans, especially those who have been affected by tragic losses and is the group's way of saying "rest in peace" to all those loved ones. The video, directed by Michael Martin, has a storyline reflecting the lyrics of the song.

Several award committees have recently honored Bone. On March 6, The Blockbuster Awards announced Bone Thugs-N-Harmony the winner of the Favorite Rap Group Award and they've been nominated for Soul Train's Best Rap Group. The Soul Train Award ceremony will be televised live from LA's Shrine Theatre on March 29. The group was also honored by NARAS with two Grammy nominations for Best Rap Album and Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group and by the American Music Awards with the nomination for Best Rap Artist.

In hometown news, Bone was recognized by the Cleveland branch of the Midnight Basketball Association for their ongoing support at a presentation held last month. Bone organized and performed at a benefit concert in Cleveland for the Midnight Basketball Association in '95 and purchased the 1995/96 championship jackets for the championship team following the Association's annual basketball play-off competitions.
