BOMBAY COMPANY ANNOUNCES EARLY REDEMPTION OF ITS SUBORDINATED DEBENTURES
 FORT WORTH, Texas, Dec. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- The Bombay Company, Inc. (AMEX: BBA), announced today that its board of directors has approved the early redemption of its 9 percent subordinated debentures due September 1992. The debentures, issued in payment of dividends in 1977 and 1978, total approximately $2,500,000. The redemption date has been set for Jan. 31, 1992.
 The Bombay Company, Inc. is a specialty retailer marketing antique reproduction furniture, prints and accessories through a network of 333 stores in the United States and Canada.
