BOHS EARN A REWARD.

Byline: DARRAGH COX

Sligo Rvrs 1 Bohemians 1

MIKEY DRENNAN'S early opener was cancelled out by Keith Ward's penalty for Bohs in a game at the Showgrounds that had end-of-season written all over it.

Rovers' top-scorer seized on a slip in the Gypsies' rearguard to slide the ball to the net in the third minute.

And he almost doubled his tally 15 minutes later, but headed off the crossbar.

The leveller came on 32 minutes.

Ward's slick ball picked out the run of Danny Grant, who went down under the mistimed tackle of Kyle Callan-McFadden in the box.

Ward (left) then stepped up to bury the spot kick and claim a point for his side.
