BOEING NAMES THOMAS TRIPP PUBLIC AFFAIRS DIRECTOR

 ARLINGTON, Va., Sept. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Thomas M. Tripp has been named director of public affairs for The Boeing Company's (NYSE: BA) Washington, D.C. office.
 He succeeds Paul Fang who is joining the Boeing Commercial Airplane Group in Seattle.
 Tripp will report to John Hayden, Boeing corporate vice president, Washington, D.C.
 A native of Longmeadow, Mass., Tripp joined the Helicopters Division of Boeing's Defense & Space Group in Philadelphia in 1988 as a manager of public relations and advertising. He joined Boeing's corporate offices in Washington, D.C. as a manager of public affairs in 1990. Before coming to Boeing he worked as a reporter for Aviation Daily and as a public relations manager for the Air Transport Association.
 Tripp resides with his family in Fairfax, Va.
