 BOEING DEFENSE & SPACE GROUP AWARDED E-3 MISSION
 SIMULATOR SUPPORT/TRAINING DEVELOPMENT CONTRACT
 COCOA BEACH, Fla., Aug. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Boeing Aerospace Operations Inc. said today it has been awarded a contract to continue mission crew simulator training support and curriculum development services for the U.S. Air Force E-3 Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) for the Air Combat Command at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma.
 Awarded by the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, the firm fixed- price contract is valued at approximately $12.2 million. Including options, the o?ntract extends from Aug. 1, 1992, through June 30, 1997.
 The incumbent prime contractor since 1987, Boeing currently provides mission crew courseware development, simulator scenario development, mission simulator operation and Learning Resource Center operation to the 552 Air Control Wing at Tinker Air Force Base. Maury Hardy will continue to manage the program from Tinker. No new hiring is planned.

 The Boeing contract will be administered by the Aircraft and Marine Operations of Boeing Aerospace Operations Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Co. (NYSE: BA).
