SEATTLE, April 14 /PRNewswire/ -- The Boeing Defense & Space Group of the United States and GEC-Marconi of the United Kingdom have signed an agreement to facilitate joint exploration of selected aerospace business opportunities in the international marketplace, Boeing (NYSE: BA) said today.
The agreement enables the companies jointly to identify and pursue business areas that will benefit from their expertise in a wide range of defense and aerospace technologies. Initial areas under study include airborne antisubmarine warfare systems and flight control component technology.
Seattle-based Boeing and GEC-Marconi, headquartered in Stanmore, England, are responding to changing political and economic climates, both in their respective nations and in the worldwide business community.
