 BOEING, UAW REACH NEW CONTRACT AGREEMENT
 PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- The Boeing Defense & Space


Group, Helicopters Division, and the United Auto & Aerospace Workers of America (UAW), Local 1069, have announced that they have reached agreement on a new three-year contract.
 The accord was ratified by Local 1069's membership in a vote on Sunday, Oct. 18.
 Edward J. Renouard, vice president and general manager of the Helicopters Division, said, "I am very pleased with the results of the labor negotiations between Boeing and the United Aerospace Workers and the UAW's acceptance of the company's offer on Sunday. This is a win- win situation for all of us."
 The Helicopters Division, located in suburban Philadelphia, is a unit of the Boeing Defense & Space Group, with headquarters in Kent, Wash.
