BMG Interactive Signs Publishing Agreement with Delphine.

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 10, 1996--BMG Interactive, one of the most sought-after game publishers in the industry, today announced it has signed a multi-title agreement with Delphine Software International, a leading European game development studio.

Under the terms of the agreement, BMG Interactive will publish Delphine's Dragon Blade, an action adventure game and Enduro Rider, a 3-D racing title. Both products will be marketed and distributed by BMG Interactive for PlayStation and Windows 95 in all markets excluding Europe, where Delphine will handle its own publishing activities.

"Delphine is one of the world's premiere game developers and we're excited to have them on board," noted Don Traeger, vice president of worldwide product development and A&R. "They are fabulous story tellers, animators and technologists, and an example of the kind of high-caliber talent that we seek to partner with."

Established in 1988, Delphine Software International is one of the industry's most high-profile game developers. A world-class leader in animation, Delphine's award-winning titles have set new standards in product quality. Dragon Blade and Enduro Rider will help define a new generation of titles featuring the graphically rich, realistic images and fluid motion that has become a Delphine trademark.

Prior to joining BMG Interactive, Traeger had the opportunity to work with Delphine while leading product development at Electronic Arts (EA). He was responsible for signing and producing several key Delphine titles published by EA, including the top-selling Fade to Black and Shaq-Fu, an action adventure title featuring basketball superstar Shaquille O'Neal.

"We're pleased to have the opportunity to work with Don again, and to partner with BMG Interactive, a true international force in game publishing," stated Anne-Marie Joassim, Delphine's international business manager. "BMG Interactive's A&R expertise, and global marketing and distribution strength, will provide invaluable support to our products."

Delphine International Software joins an impressive list of independent game developers that are currently working with BMG Interactive to produce game titles for leading systems. The roster includes Boss Game Studios, DMA Design, Interactive Studios, NMS Software, New Level Software, Pixel, Z-AXIS, and Zombie.

BMG Interactive is the global entertainment software publishing arm of BMG Entertainment, the $5.3 billion division of Bertelsmann AG, a $13.7 billion operation and second largest media company in the world.

Established in 1994, BMG Interactive markets and distributes next generation titles for PlayStation, Saturn, Nintendo 64, and PC CD-ROM, while cultivating the talents of its premiere game developers worldwide. BMG Interactive is based in San Francisco and has offices in New York and London. -0-
