BMC Software Inc. (NYSE:BMC), the leading provider of enterprise management, and KPN, a leading European telecommunications company based in the Netherlands, today announced the immediate availability of BMC Software's SiteAngel(TM) Web site performance monitoring service in Europe. KPN will offer BMC Software's SiteAngel subscription-based service, giving European customers fast and local access to Web site performance and availability information, enabling them to improve customer satisfaction and assure business availability through better service management.

SiteAngel is a Web-based service that monitors online customer satisfaction and continuously measures the true end-to-end customer experience at a Web site. It can be accessed from any location via the Internet and is platform and browser independent. The detailed information about the customer's experience provided by SiteAngel can be used to ensure that Web sites are meeting the level of service agreed upon in service level agreements (SLAs). SiteAngel is now live in KPN's Datacenter and will simulate the customer's experience, at specified time intervals and provide information on response status and availability in the form of charts and graphs.
